First year of VEC courses
Verde-ecology Consultancy took a “leap of faith” and launched ecology and botany courses for professionals working in the nature conservation sector. The courses range from Phase 1 habitat survey to calcareous grassland NVC, to grasses id. In 2020 we hope to deliver more courses.
Delivery of Field Studies Council courses
We were hired by the Field Studies Council to deliver IB biology courses to students coming from abroad. This was in the FSC centre in Pembrokeshire, a long way away from Durham. We did rocky shore explorations, dune surveying and woodland work.
